Responsibilities- Implementation of new and improvement of existing business applications.
- Work with various Investment teams, Trading and other business units to design, develop and maintain solutions that will enhance performance, automate workflows and reduce errors.
- Support existing systems.
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
- Five plus years of software development experience with strong analysis, design, and modeling skills.
- Financial services industry experience preferred.
- Proficiency in SQL programming along with database modeling and design, primarily using Microsoft SQL Server.
- Proficiency in using C# and/or Java for back‑end development.
- Experience with version control systems (Git, TFVC).
- Excellent problem‑solving and debugging skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience with one or more of the following will be considered a plus:
- Charles River Investment Management System
- Markit EDM Platform
- Data Warehouse Platforms
- Front‑end web frameworks like Angular/React
- Large Language Models like GPT
Job may require working beyond regular business hours on an as needed basis.
CompensationPay range: $135,000 - $180,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and where applicable, licensure or certification obtained. In addition to the base salary and a generous employee benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
