Senior Software Engineer

Requirements

• The ideal candidate brings experience developing in cloud environments and a pragmatic, hands‑on approach to creating solutions — thoughtfully applying new technologies, including AI‑assisted development tools, to solve complex problems and deliver meaningful outcomes
• Typically has 6+ Years of Software Development Experience
• Candidates with more experience are encouraged to apply as well
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality applications and features to production
• Experience designing and building distributed architectures, ideally in the AWS ecosystem, with a strong understanding of principles such as separation of concerns, scalability, and loose coupling
• Practical experience using AI tools (e.g., Copilot, Cursor, or Claude Code) to improve development workflows and productivity
• Strong experience with relational and document‑oriented databases, including performance tuning and scaling
• Proficiency in Node.js, Type Script, and frontend frameworks such as React
• Familiarity with automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and modern code management practices
• Passion for clean code, design patterns, and continuous improvement

• Design, build, and deliver scalable, reliable software across the stack — developing distributed systems and data‑driven features that support carrier and customer experiences with strong performance, reliability, and maintainability
• Collaborate closely with product and design to translate customer needs into technical solutions that drive measurable value
• Apply modern AI development tools (e.g., Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code) to accelerate implementation, testing, and documentation
• Write clean, testable, and efficient code, continuously improving architecture and development practices through code reviews and refactoring
• Contribute to technical strategy, balancing pragmatic decision‑making with long‑term scalability and system health
• Mentor and collaborate with peers, helping elevate engineering standards and culture through example and feedback
