We are seeking a Technical Implementation Consultant to join our Customer Success team. In this role you will engage with customers post‑sales to develop software solutions on the Appian platform, helping companies drive digital transformation and competitive differentiation. You will work throughout the entire project life‑cycle to define, design, develop and implement custom software and AI solutions using the Appian platform for our commercial clients.

You will collaborate with client technical teams and business users, launch new relational data models in production, develop APIs to integrate with multiple systems, and drive adoption by empowering clients to become self‑sufficient.

• Work throughout the entire project life‑cycle to define, design, develop and implement custom software and AI solutions on the Appian platform.
• Understand client business processes and technical needs within an agile environment.
• Launch new relational data models in production.
• Develop APIs (REST, SOAP, JDBC, web services) to integrate with multiple systems.
• Brainstorm AI use cases and implement Appian’s AI tools using retrieval‑augmented generation (RAG), agentic workflows, prompt engineering, and generative models.
• Collaborate with client technical teams and business users throughout the software development life‑cycle.
• Drive adoption by empowering clients to build process applications on their own.

• 1+ year(s) of experience with hands‑on software development or technical consulting.
• Experience with object‑oriented programming, relational databases, database design/data modeling, and SQL (queries, joins, views).
• Experience working with API integrations such as REST, SOAP, JDBC, and web services.
• Familiarity with Amazon Web Services and cloud environments; experience with AI, Analytics, Machine Learning preferred.
• Experience in agile methodologies (pair programming, stand‑ups, planning sessions, sprints).
• Knowledge of software testing practices (test‑driven development, automated test suites within a CI framework).
• B.S./B.A. in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, or related field.
• Willingness to travel for client engagements (approximately 20%).

Base Salary: $75,000–$125,000 per year (range estimates at the time of posting; exact compensation will depend on experience, qualifications, and market).

Additional compensation may include a discretionary bonus based on individual and company performance.
