Senior Specialist - Software Engineering (Java Developer with ACI Payments)

Boston, MA

Candidate should have 10 years of experience as ACI RTPS Developer to work on real time payment processing systems. The candidate will be responsible for development customization and support of ACI Real Time Payments platform RTPS for global banking clients.

• Develop and support applications on the ACI RTPS platform.
• Good understanding of Real Time Payments architecture.
• Customize payment workflows and transaction processing logic.
• Hands-on experience in Java, J2EE, Oracle, PLSQL, Unix/Linux, REST and SOAP APIs.
• Handle integration with core banking and external payment systems.
• Work with payment messages in SWIFT, XML, and JSON.
• Perform unit testing, integration testing, and deployment support.
• Ensure high performance and availability of payment systems.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, QA, and business stakeholders.
• Hands-on experience in Dev Ops and CI/CD.
• Experience in payment domains including payment processing and payment reconciliation (RTP, Instant Payments, ACH, SWIFT, etc.).

• 10 years of experience as ACI RTPS Developer or equivalent with real-time payment processing systems.
• Strong hands-on experience in Java, J2EE, Oracle, PL/SQL, Unix/Linux, REST and SOAP APIs.
• Experience with core banking integrations and external payment systems.
• Familiarity with payment messaging formats such as SWIFT, XML, and JSON.
• Proven ability to perform unit and integration testing and provide deployment support.
• Ability to ensure performance and availability of payment systems.
• Effective collaboration with BA, QA, and stakeholders; strong communication skills.
• Experience with Dev Ops/CI-CD tooling and practices.
• Experience in payment domains (RTP, Instant Payments, ACH, SWIFT) is preferred.
