As a Senior Design Producer
, you are the architect of the development process. You will work in lockstep with the Executive Producer to manage the production of core gameplay elements, including combat systems and moment-to-moment gameplay loops. Your goal is to ensure that the creative vision for Cyberpunk 2 is realized through efficient pipelines, clear communication, and a culture of self-organization.

You are not just managing tasks; you are nurturing people. You will lead a production team, coaching them to identify bottlenecks before they happen and advocating for improvements that challenge the status quo. In our Boston studio, you will be a key figure in building a collaborative environment where every developer—from engineering to narrative— is aligned with the project’s goals.

  • Strategic Production Leadership: Partner with the Executive Producer to grow and mentor the production department, ensuring high standards of quality and efficiency.
  • Core Gameplay Oversight: Drive the production cycles for gameplay, combat, and immersive moment-to-moment player experiences.
  • Team Empowerment: Form and lead cohesive, cross-functional teams. You will foster an Agile-friendly environment where teams are empowered to self-organize and solve their own challenges.
  • Process Optimization: Oversee the entire lifecycle of production—from requirements gathering and road mapping to scoping and scheduling. You will constantly refine these processes to remove friction.
  • Transparency & Alignment: Ensure the game’s vision and milestones are transparent and understood by every member of the organization, regardless of their level.
  • Conflict & Obstacle Resolution: Proactively identify bottlenecks and queues. You will visualize and prioritize the removal of obstacles to maintain a steady flow of incremental delivery.
  • Growth & Mentorship: Act as a dedicated coach for your team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.

We are seeking a seasoned leader who understands the specific nuances of large-scale, narrative-driven RPG development.

  • Industry

    Experience:

    7+ years of experience as a Producer in game development, with a proven track record of managing other producers and leading large-scale projects.
  • AAA Pedigree: Direct experience in shipping AAA narrative RPG titles. You must understand the complexity of high-fidelity, choice-driven games.
  • Gameplay Expertise: Specific experience producing gameplay-centric content and systems.
  • Methodology: Deep knowledge of Agile development practices and team empowerment strategies.
  • Technical Literacy: A strong grasp of game development pipelines and technical engineering best practices (e.g., CI/CD, Dev Ops, and test-driven development).
  • Tool Mastery: Advanced proficiency in Jira and Confluence for project tracking, documentation, and reporting.
  • Soft Skills: Exceptional communication skills and a proactive, constructive attitude toward problem-solving.
