Responsibilities- Contribute to the requirements elicitation process by documenting assigned parts of business requirements, in line with guidance provided.
- Facilitate software application design discussions, and document design decisions to guide the technical team towards building software solutions.
- Participate in coding and integrate new features or updates into existing applications, with a focus on maintaining system stability.
- Conduct code reviews, make changes to the codebase and maintain code repositories.
- Implement test strategies, analyse results, and coordinate bug fixes to uphold the software quality standards.
- Develop user training programs, documentation, and support frameworks to ensure a smooth transition to new software applications.
- Actively participate in resolving production issues and recommend preventive strategies to enhance system reliability.
- Maintain detailed records of code, testing techniques, and support activities to enrich the knowledge base and assist other similar projects.
- A collaborative spirit and excellent communication skills.
- The ability to handle end‑to‑end SDLC phases from requirement gathering to implementation.
- A knack for translating complex requirements into actionable development tasks.
- A passion for design and hands‑on coding experience.

- Development and support experience on Java platform.
- Proficiency in Java with a good understanding of its ecosystems.
- Sound knowledge of Object‑Oriented Programming patterns and concepts.
- Familiarity with different design and architectural patterns.
- Skill for writing reusable Java libraries.
- Know‑how of Java concurrency patterns.
- Basic understanding of MVC, JDBC, and RESTful web services.
- Experience with popular web application frameworks such as Play and Spark.
- Relevant knowledge of Java GUI frameworks such as Swing, SWT, AWT according to project requirements.
- Ability to write clean, readable Java code.
- Basic know‑how of class loading mechanism in Java.
- Experience handling external and embedded databases.
- Understanding of basic design principles behind a scalable application.
- Design, develop, and maintain AS400 applications. Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Modify and enhance existing AS400 programs. Perform unit testing and resolve software defects. Provide technical support and troubleshooting for AS400 systems.
- Excellent customer interfacing skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and outstanding analytical and problem‑solving skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution. Three years of progressive experience in the specialty will be considered in lieu of every year of education.
- This position may require relocation and/or travel to work/project location.

Salary: $78,903 – $120,000
