As a Senior Software Engineer (Java), you will make an impact by designing, developing, and delivering scalable, high-quality web applications using modern Java technologies and frontend frameworks. You will be a valued member of the engineering team and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including architects, business stakeholders, and QA  this role, you will:
* Design, develop, and maintain full stack applications using Java/J2EE technologies and modern frontend frameworks
* Build responsive, user-friendly interfaces using Angular

JS, React

JS, JavaScript, and HTML/CSS
* Develop and integrate web services (SOAP) and handle data transformations using XSLT
* Work with relational databases (SQL, Oracle) to design, optimize, and manage data models
* Collaborate in Agile development environments, contributing to sprint planning, development, testing, and deployment
* Provide L2/L3 production support, managing incident management, defect triaging, and resolution within SLA timelines.## Work model

* 10+ years of strong experience in Java/J2EE technologies including Servlets and JDBC
* Proven expertise in frontend development using Angular

JS, React

JS, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, and CSS
* Hands-on experience with SOAP-based web services and XSLT transformations
* Experience with Node.js and build tools such as Grunt
* Solid understanding of relational databases, including SQL and Oracle
* Production support, managing incident management, defect triaging, and resolution within SLA timelines.## These will help you stand out
* Experience working with application servers such as Web Logic, Web Sphere, or Apache Tomcat
* Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies
* Exposure to unit testing frameworks and development best practices
* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate across teams
* Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies
* Guidewire Policy Admin System experience
* Insurance domain experience

Applications will be accepted until June 11th, 2026.## Salary and Other Compensation The annual salary for this position is Between $65,447 to $117,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
