Principal DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a Principal Platform Engineer who is passionate about building resilient cloud platforms that drive real‑world impact in healthcare. In this role, you’ll architect secure, automated infrastructure in an FDA‑regulated environment, implement advanced CI/CD pipelines, and champion infrastructure‑as‑code practices that enable teams to deliver faster and smarter. By applying your Dev Ops expertise and AWS mastery, you’ll accelerate the development of cutting‑edge medical‑imaging SaaS solutions that have the potential to transform patient care.

• 7+ years of Dev Ops/SRE/Platform‑focused software engineering experience in an agile environment and expertise with at least one coding language (Ruby, Python, Rust, Go, etc.)
• Extensive hands‑on experience creating and supporting AWS environments using, but not limited to, ECS, EFS, EC2, RDS, Redshift, VPC, Route
  53.
• Experience developing infrastructure‑as‑code (IaC):
  Terraform, Cloud Formation, CDK, etc.
• Experience with containerization and virtualization (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS/Fargate, etc.).
• Experience building and/or maintaining CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Git Hub, Git Lab, CircleCI, etc.).
• Experience with infrastructure and application monitoring tools such as Data Dog, New Relic or similar.
• Strong organization, collaboration and communication skills.

• This role is based out of our office in Boston, MA. We operate in a hybrid model with regular in‑office collaboration.
• The role participates in an on‑call rotation providing coverage on business days from 9:00 AM to 12:00 AM. The rotation is shared among all team members and generally occurs for 2–3 weeks per quarter.

• The anticipated base salary range for this position at Elucid is $170,000–$205,000.
• Compensation will be influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to internal pay equity, job‑related knowledge, skills, education, relevant experience, certifications, and geography as outlined in the job description.
