Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in frontend development, UI engineering, or a related field
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript/Type Script, HTML5, and modern CSS/styling methodologies
- Deep understanding of modern, component-driven frontend frameworks such as React or Angular, with the flexibility to adapt to the best tool for the job
- Proven track record of building, documenting, and maintaining robust design systems using Storybook.js or similar tools
- Solid experience working with middleware, RESTful/GraphQL APIs, and state management
- A product-focused mindset with a strong appreciation for UX/UI design principles
- A passion for staying ahead of the curve in frontend technology and how AI is shaping the future of user interfaces
- Prior exposure to middle- and/or back-office operations within the financial industry or fund administration is a plus
- We are seeking a seasoned UI Engineer to bridge the gap between design and engineering
- In this role, you will be instrumental in establishing the frontend architecture that powers our applications
- You will work closely with the OnCorps design team, bringing their vision to life while providing the technical expertise necessary to scale our design system
- Our environment values adaptability and rapid iteration, requiring a focus on creating highly modular, interchangeable UI components
- Architect, develop, and maintain highly responsive, accessible, and scalable user interfaces using modern web technologies
- Partner directly with the OnCorps design team to evolve and govern our design system establishing best practices for component architecture and interaction design
- Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate frontend applications with robust middleware and backend APIs, ensuring smooth data handling, state management, and application performance
- Operate with a framework‑agnostic mindset, applying deep expertise in core web fundamentals to build applications primarily utilizing React or Angular
- Help drive frontend innovation by exploring and adopting cutting‑edge interaction models as we define our future agent framework
