Tech Lead; Backend Services

What you’ll do

• Lead backend architecture and system design for a real‑time, data‑intensive platform.
• Design and build distributed data processing pipelines ingesting high‑volume, unstructured data from many external sources.
• Own core backend services and APIs that power AI‑driven platform
• Collaborate with data/ML engineers to product ionize models and integrate them into the product.
• Establish engineering best practices around reliability, scalability, and performance.
• Mentor and support a small team of backend and full‑stack engineers.

• Python, with modern web frameworks (e.g., Django, FastAPI).
• AWS as the primary cloud platform.

• Strong backend engineering background with Python in production.
• Experience designing and scaling distributed systems or large‑scale data platforms.
• Solid experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred).
• Exposure to real‑time data processing, security, or fraud/threat intelligence is a plus, but not required.
• Prior startup or early‑stage experience, comfortable with ownership and ambiguity.
• Interest in mentoring others and influencing technical direction while staying hands‑on.
