Senior Java Developer Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer to join a team building a modern cloud-based application while supporting ongoing enterprise initiatives. This is an excellent opportunity for a backend-focused engineer with strong expertise in Java, Spring, and AWS who enjoys designing scalable, high-performance applications. • 5+ years of professional experience in backend Java development
• Strong hands‑on experience with Java and the Spring Framework
• Proven experience developing enterprise‑level backend applications
• Solid knowledge of AWS Cloud services, including EC2, EKS, Docker, and Kubernetes
• Experience writing complex SQL queries and working with Oracle databases
• Working knowledge of PL/SQL for database development and optimization
• Experience developing, testing, and maintaining scalable cloud‑based applications
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills with the ability to collaborate in an Agile environment

• Design and develop a new cloud‑native application using Java, Spring, and AWS technologies.
• Support and enhance existing enterprise applications while ensuring performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Collaborate closely with developers, architects, and business stakeholders to deliver high‑quality software solutions.
• Contribute to technical discussions, code reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives across the development team.

• Develop and maintain backend services using Java and the Spring Framework.
• Build scalable, secure, and high‑performing cloud‑based applications.
• Design, write, and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and PL/SQL code.
• Deploy and support applications within AWS environments using Docker, Kubernetes, EC2, and EKS.
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement sustainable solutions.
• Participate in architecture discussions and recommend best practices for application design.
• Perform code reviews and maintain high standards for code quality and performance.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Support application deployments, testing, and ongoing maintenance activities.
• Continuously evaluate and adopt modern development tools and practices to improve team efficiency.
