Full Stack Engineer
Are you eager to spearhead the building of world-class APIs and web applications? We are searching for a highly motivated Full Stack Engineer to join our ambitious team in Durham, NC. You'll lead the development of scalable, secure solutions that help fintech partners offer financial planning and investment advice. As a technical leader, you'll define direction across the full stack and support engineers in delivering cohesive, high-impact solutions!
The core work involves supporting, coordinating, and leading the building and development of top-tier web services and applications. Your impact will be felt in driving innovation and delivering solutions that improve our clients' financial experiences.
The expertise and skills you bring:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 7+ years' experience crafting, developing, and operating REST-based web services and distributed systems.
- Strong backend expertise in Java (Spring Boot) is required; experience with Go (Golang) or willingness to work in Go is a strong advantage.
- Demonstrated experience developing contemporary web applications using Type Script with React and/or Angular.
- Strong understanding of UI architecture, component development, state management, and performance optimization.
- Proven experience building and deploying software solutions by applying public cloud provider services, with strong preference for AWS.
- Experience developing and running containerized workloads with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code, specifically Terraform.
- Experience working with backend relational databases, specifically PostgreSQL (schema build, query performance, indexing).
- Experience with CI/CD tools and practices to build, test, and deploy software (for example Jenkins or similar tooling).
- Good experience with test automation and frameworks for API, integration, and UI testing, such as Cucumber, Karate, Cypress.
