Senior Data Engineer / Architect with Snowflake

Location: Boston, MA or Washington, DC (Onsite).

We're looking for an experienced Senior Data Engineer/Architect with expertise in Snowflake, Coalesce, and HVR to design and build scalable cloud-native data platforms for our Finance & Capital Markets enterprises.

• 12+ years of experience in Data Engineering/Data Architecture
• Strong background in Finance & Capital Markets projects
• Expertise in Architecture, Solution Design, and Data Platform Engineering
• Snowflake
• Python
• AWS Platform as a Service (PaaS)
• Design and implement scalable data platforms using Snowflake
  .
• Build and manage ELT pipelines using Coalesce
  .
• Design and execute data migration workflows from SQL-based systems to Snowflake using HVR Replicate Tool (Fivetran HVR).
• Develop robust data models, ELT pipelines, and complex Snowflake SQL stored procedures.
• Leverage Snowflake Cortex AI
  , GenAI
  , and Agentic AI solutions to drive innovation and automation.
• Utilize AI-native development tools such as Claude Code (Anthropic),
  OpenAI Codex
  , or Cursor for code generation and debugging.
• Implement best practices for data governance, cataloging, performance optimization, security, scalability, and cost management.
• Create architecture documentation, operational procedures, and troubleshoot platform health and performance issues.

• Strong expertise in Data Platform Design & Data Modeling
• Experience with modular data transformations and automated deployment in Coalesce
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services
• Excellent problem-solving, architecture, and stakeholder communication skills
