As a result, we have an exciting opportunity for a Summer‑Fall Software Engineering Co‑op to join our XiO Cloud Engineering Team in Rockleigh, NJ or Boston, MA. This role is a 100% onsite work arrangement.

Interns and Co‑Ops are assigned a dedicated mentor who will be responsible for their development and acclimation to the company. Crestron will also provide a variety of training and networking opportunities and a comprehensive experience that enhances technical and non‑technical skill sets and prepares students for their professional careers.

• Contribute to well‑defined projects supporting the XiO Cloud platform.
• Assist in developing and enhancing Angular components, services, and modules within the XiO Cloud single‑page application.
• Collaborate with engineers to implement responsive and accessible user interface designs.
• Support integration efforts between front‑end applications and back‑end APIs.
• Participate in software testing, debugging, and maintenance activities.
• Assist in developing and executing unit and integration tests to support software quality and reliability.
• Participate in code reviews, Agile ceremonies, team discussions, and technical design conversations.
• Document technical findings, implementation details, and test results to support team knowledge sharing.

• Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Human‑Computer Interaction, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Must have unrestricted work authorization in the United States now and in the future.

• Strong programming fundamentals and understanding of software development concepts.
• Understanding of object‑oriented programming principles and software engineering best practices.
• Familiarity with version control using Git.
• Coursework, project experience, or familiarity with JavaScript or Type Script.
• Familiarity with Angular, React, Vue, or another modern front‑end framework.
• Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, responsive Web‑Design, and user interface development.
• Exposure to REST APIs and client‑server application architecture.
• Interest in user experience, accessibility, or design systems is a plus.
