We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer in Test to support the development of an enterprise-grade digital asset platform for storing, trading, and servicing digital assets. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring product quality by designing and implementing automated testing solutions, enhancing test frameworks, and driving quality throughout the software development lifecycle. You will collaborate closely with engineers, product owners, and architects in a fast-paced, Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain automated testing solutions for enterprise applications.
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, architects, and business stakeholders to embed quality throughout the development lifecycle.
- Analyze requirements and identify potential risks early in the development process.
- Implement efficient automated test coverage that meets each user story’s definition of done.
- Build and maintain end-to-end, integration, and regression test suites across distributed and microservices-based systems.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of test frameworks, strategies, and automation practices.
- Perform defect analysis, root cause analysis, and assist with issue resolution.
- Mentor engineers on testing best practices and automation strategies.
- Leverage and enhance existing testing solutions to improve efficiency and quality.
- Support Agile development processes and CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous delivery of high-quality software.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering or test automation.
- Strong experience with Java-based test automation.
- Hands‑on experience with automation frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Cucumber, JUnit, or Spring Boot Test.
- Strong knowledge of databases, SQL, data validation, and testing data workflows.
- Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms.
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker or Amazon ECS.
- Experience building and maintaining end‑to‑end and integration tests for distributed or microservices-based applications.
- Proficiency with version control systems such as Git.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and CI/CD practices.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate across cross‑functional teams.
- Experience with AI‑assisted test generation to improve automation coverage and efficiency.
- Experience reviewing requirements, performing defect analysis, supporting distributed teams, and contributing to test reporting.
- Ability to advocate for quality engineering practices through collaboration and technical leadership.
- Adaptability and willingness to learn new tools, technologies, and internal platforms.
- Experience mentoring team members on testing methodologies and automation best practices.
