We are seeking an experienced Java Developer to join a team building a modern, cloud-based application. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands‑on backend engineer with strong expertise in Java, Spring, and AWS who thrives in a collaborative, fast‑paced environment. Candidates who demonstrate strong technical depth and cloud development experience will be prioritized for interviews.
Must Haves- 5+ years of professional experience developing enterprise‑level Java applications.
- Strong hands‑on experience with Java and the Spring Framework.
- Proven experience building and supporting backend services and APIs.
- Strong working knowledge of AWS services, including EC2, EKS, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Experience writing complex SQL queries and working with Oracle databases.
- Working knowledge of PL/SQL for database development and optimization.
- Experience developing scalable, secure, and high‑performant cloud‑based applications.
- Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
In this role, you will help design, develop, and support a new cloud‑native application while contributing to backend architecture and system performance. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to deliver reliable, scalable solutions and help drive best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise‑grade backend applications using Java and the Spring Framework.
- Build and enhance cloud‑native solutions leveraging AWS services and container technologies.
- Develop scalable RESTful APIs and backend services to support business applications.
- Write, optimize, and maintain SQL and PL/SQL code for Oracle databases.
- Deploy and manage applications using Kubernetes, Docker, EC2, and Amazon EKS.
- Troubleshoot application issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
- Collaborate with developers, architects, and stakeholders to deliver high‑quality software.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to software design and technical best practices.
- Support application performance, reliability, and ongoing enhancements in production environments.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to development processes and cloud architecture.
