Job Summary
The Integration Engineer will design, develop, and maintain integrations between various internal and external systems, ensuring seamless data flow across our technology ecosystem while preserving data integrity and performance. The role is hybrid, requiring a minimum of three days in the office per week to promote collaboration and teamwork. Flexibility and a strong sense of urgency are essential, as the position may demand occasional availability outside traditional working hours to address urgent business needs.
MinimumQualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of three years of hands‑on experience with Workday integrations.
- Proficiency with Workday Studio, EIBs (Enterprise Interface Builder), and Core Connectors.
- Strong understanding of the Workday data model, business processes, and HR and payroll business processes.
- Experience with XML, XSLT, JSON, REST/SOAP web services, and database concepts (SQL).
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Power Shell, or similar.
- Experience with version control systems (Git) and integration monitoring & troubleshooting tools.
- Design, build, test, and deploy integrations using Workday Studio, EIBs, Core Connectors, and Workday Web Services.
- Develop inbound and outbound integrations for data exchange.
- Create and maintain integration documentation, including technical specifications and data mapping.
- Troubleshoot integration issues and implement solutions to ensure reliable data transfer.
- Implement error handling, logging, and monitoring for integration processes.
- Transform and validate data to maintain accuracy across systems.
- Partner with HR, IT, and other stakeholders to gather integration requirements.
- Collaborate with system functional consultants and administrators to define integration boundaries.
- Provide technical guidance on integration capabilities and limitations.
- Support testing phases, including unit testing, system integration testing, and user acceptance testing.
