Java Software Engineer (Low Latency Trading)

Up to $200k Total Compensation! (Industry Leading Bonus)
We're currently working with a leading high-performance investment firm that's looking to add a Java Software Engineer to its front-office trading technology team!
This role offers the opportunity to engineer the systems that underpin a sophisticated trading platform, working on performance-critical technology where every optimisation matters. You'll collaborate closely with front-office teams, solve challenging technical problems, and have the chance to grow your influence by taking on technical leadership responsibilities!
Qualifications- 3–5+ years of professional Java software development experience
- Expertise in designing and developing low latency, performance-critical systems
- A track record of writing well-structured, scalable, and highly optimised code
- Experience supporting the growth of junior developers or leading a small technical team is a significant advantage!
- Take ownership of a talented, high-performing engineering team
- Develop the technology that powers front-office trading and supports key business decisions
