Job Overview

Application Engineer – a Japanese‑speaking role located in Japan.

• Work with local customers and lead development areas for large‑scale projects consolidated from bases across the country.
• Involved in all phases from requirements definition, design, development, post‑release testing, and operations.
• If experienced, serve as project lead responsible for project management and technical aspects.
• Handle projects across a wide range of industries: finance, insurance, manufacturing, public sector.
• Work on over 300 projects, including open systems, hosting, digital transformation (cloud/mobile/RPA, etc.).
• Development projects for ISV packages such as ERP (SAP/Oracle) and CRM (Salesforce).
• Based in one of the following locations:
  Sapporo, Sendai, Okinawa, Kitakyushu, Hiroshima, Takamatsu, or Nagano.

• Japanese speaking (JLPT N1 level). Japanese CV required.
• Experience designing and developing web applications and open‑system systems using Java and other languages.
• Project team lead experience.
• Front‑end design and development experience (Angular/React, etc.).
• Experience in cloud‑native application development, design, and operation (Dev Ops, CI/CD, etc.).
