We are a premier New York-based private investment firm seeking an exceptional AI Strategy & Product Engineering Lead to lead the firm's enterprise AI initiatives for our Boston office. This is a unique opportunity to define how artificial intelligence transforms investing, operations, and decision-making across the organization.

This is a highly strategic, hands-on role for an AI-native builder - someone who has successfully developed and deployed production AI products that deliver measurable business impact. You'll work directly with senior leadership, investment professionals, and operations teams to identify opportunities where AI can create competitive advantage while ensuring responsible governance and compliance.

• Develop and execute the firm's enterprise AI strategy from concept through deployment.
• Own and enhance proprietary AI-powered tools used across investment, operations, and business teams.
• Design, build, and launch production-ready AI applications that solve meaningful business challenges.
• Partner directly with Partners, investment professionals, finance, legal, and operations to translate business objectives into AI-powered solutions.
• Lead and manage an external engineering team, driving execution and maintaining AI-native development standards.
• Evaluate emerging AI technologies and make strategic build-versus-buy decisions.
• Oversee integrations across CRM platforms, deal management systems, workflow automation tools, data pipelines, and internal knowledge platforms.
• Partner with Compliance and Legal to establish AI governance, data security, access controls, and responsible AI frameworks, particularly around confidential investment information.
• Serve as the firm's internal AI thought leader by educating employees and promoting AI adoption across the organization.
• Continuously identify opportunities to improve productivity, operational efficiency, and investment workflows through AI.

You're an AI-native product builder who enjoys solving complex business problems with modern AI technologies.

You likely have:

• 3-8 years of professional experience building software or AI products.
• A proven history of shipping AI-powered products that are actively used in production.
• Experience owning products from concept through launch and ongoing iteration.
• Strong Python programming skills.
• Hands-on experience with OpenAI, Anthropic, Claude, or other leading LLM platforms.
• Experience building AI agents, copilots, workflow automation, or internal productivity tools.
• Experience integrating CRM systems, APIs, and enterprise software platforms.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for executive stakeholders.
• A track record of delivering measurable business outcomes through technology.

• Base Salary: $250,000–$350,000

Hybrid schedule with 3-4 days per week in the office . We believe the best ideas emerge through close collaboration, and this role partners extensively with senior leadership and investment professionals.
