Full Stack Angular Developer
PlanIT Group is seeking a Full Stack Angular Developer for our Federal customer in the Washington, DC area. The ideal candidate will be experienced Full Stack Developer to join our agile team on a fast-paced, time-critical web application project. This role involves building both the responsive frontend using Angular 18 and Kendo UI and the backend Web APIs using .NET Core 8 and Entity Framework.
The candidate will be expected to follow industry best practices in security, accessibility (including testing via Lambda Test), and cross-browser compatibility.

This role involves building both the responsive frontend using Angular 18 and Kendo UI and the backend Web APIs Core 8 and Entity Framework. The candidate will be expected to follow industry best practices in security, accessibility (including testing via Lambda Test), and cross-browser compatibility.
Responsibilities- Frontend Development:
Design, develop, and maintain responsive web applications using Angular 18 and Kendo UI, ensuring mobile and cross-device compatibility. - Backend Development:
Build and maintain secure, Core 8 Web APIs using C# and Entity Framework Core. - Full Stack Integration:
Ensure seamless integration between frontend components and backend services. - Database Interaction:
Work with SQL Server, including writing stored procedures, optimizing queries, and managing schema changes. - Accessibility & Cross-Browser Testing:
Use Lambda Test to ensure accessibility compliance and cross-browser functionality across devices and platforms. - Security Best Practices:
Adhere to OWASP Top 10 standards and implement secure coding practices throughout the stack. - Testing:
Write and maintain unit and integration tests for both frontend and backend components. - Agile Development:
Actively participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and collaborative task execution. - Version Control & CI/CD:
Use TFS (Team Foundation Server) for version control and collaborate on build/release processes for continuous integration and deployment. - Code Quality:
Conduct code reviews, contribute to documentation, and uphold high-quality development standards.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
TechnicalSkills:
- Frontend:
Expertise in Angular 18+ and Kendo UI with strong knowledge of Type Script, HTML5, and CSS
3. Experience building responsive web applications optimized for mobile and desktop. - Backend:
Proficiency Core 8, C#, and RESTful API development. Experience with Entity Framework Core for data access. - Database:
Proficient in SQL Server including T-SQL, performance tuning, and database design. - Accessibility & Testing:
Familiarity with Lambda Test for cross-browser and accessibility testing. Understanding of WCAG guidelines and best practices for accessible UI. - Security:
Practical understanding of OWASP Top 10 security principles. - Dev Tools:
Experience using TFS (Team Foundation Server) for version control and work item tracking. Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and Agile tools such as Jira.
Strong communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Detail-oriented with a focus on clean, maintainable code. Eagerness to learn and stay current with emerging technologies.
Nice to Have:Experience deploying web applications to IIS or containerized environments (e.g., Docker). Familiarity with Dev Ops practices and tools. Basic understanding of UI/UX design principles and user-centric development.

Must be able to obtain a Position of Public Trust Clearance. Pass both a client mandated clearance process to include drug screening, criminal history check and credit check. All candidates must be a US Citizen or US Permanent Resident only. Candidate must have lived in the United States for the past 5 years. Cannot have more than 6 months travel outside the United States within the last five years.
