About the Role

Our team's mission is to define the future of the software development lifecycle, ensuring Qt Group remains the world's most versatile and high-performance platform for building and testing intelligent applications. We work across our entire portfolio—the Qt Framework (including Qt for MCUs), Software Quality Solutions (Squish, Coco, Test Center, Axivion), and Design Tools—to help our customers build the next generation of intelligent user interfaces.

As the Director of AI Strategy, you will lead our outward-facing AI roadmap across all business units. This is a high-impact, market-facing role where you will act as a "Customer Advocate," translating the needs of our global user base into a world-class AI experience that spans the entire product range—from design and development to quality assurance.

What You'll Do
  • Lead the unified, outward-facing AI strategy across our Design Tools, Development Tools and Software Quality Solutions.
  • Engage directly with Tier-1 customers to identify high-value AI use cases, such as on-device inference for embedded systems and AI-driven test automation.
  • Identify market-fit for AI-assisted tools, leveraging AI to enhance our entire portfolio of products.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure AI-driven features are seamlessly integrated across the product portfolio
  • Partner with hardware and silicon vendors to optimize the deployment of AI models across the full range of Qt-supported hardware platforms.
  • Maintain accurate strategic records and progress reports within our internal systems to ensure global alignment on the AI vision.
What You Bring to the Table
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant technical field like Computer Science or Data Science.
  • Extensive experience in Technical Strategy or Leadership within developer tools, development frameworks, or test automation tools.
  • Practical understanding of AI/ML integration, specifically how it applies to both software runtimes and developer productivity tools.
  • Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to bridge the gap between deep engineering and business stakeholders.
  • Deep empathy for the developer journey, likely gained from working within a customer organization or a similar complex software ecosystem.
  • Proven ability to lead through influence across multiple business units and geographically distributed teams.
Bonus Points For...
  • Experience working with international teams across various time zones, particularly between India, the US, and Europe.
  • Prior experience with Qt Group products, particularly in a professional, production-grade capacity.
