Software Engineer, Backend Developer

Location: Boston, Massachusetts (Hybrid: onsite Monday-Thursdays & can work remotely from home on Fridays)

We are seeking a Software Engineer. This position involves supporting collaboration across global partners to help automate supply chain processes. The role is cross-functional, requiring direct work with operations, supply chain teams, and technology teams.

• Utilize strong Java development experience to support project goals.
• Apply knowledge of supply chain management processes, including Order Management Systems (OMS) and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Engage in stakeholder management and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Work to automate supply chain processes in partnership with global teams.

Education: A Bachelor's degree is required.

Experience: A minimum of 8+ years of experience in a technical or related role is required; 10+ years is preferred.

• Strong Java development experience.
• Knowledge of supply chain management and processes (OMS, WMS, logistics coordination).
• Hands-on experience with stakeholder management and cross-functional teamwork.

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Flexibility and the ability to prioritize tasks.

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• Experience with SAP AFS, Manhattan WMS, and Amazon MCF integrations.
• Prior experience in the retail, footwear, or apparel industry.
