QA Engineer

Required Skills & Experience- 8–10+ years of experience in QA Engineer (focused on web apps, APIs, Cloud-based solutions)

• Backend and infrastructure testing
• Strong with Automation Testing (Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, REST Assured, etc)
• Experience testing AI-powered applications, generative AI solutions, LLM-based products, chatbots, copilots, or Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) applications.
• Strong experience with test planning, test case design, defect management, regression testing, and release validation.
• Familiarity with Azure Dev Ops, Jira, or similar Agile delivery and defect tracking platforms.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and quality gates within software delivery processes.
• Experience supporting Agile / Scrum teams in fast-paced product development environments.
• Experience utilizing AI-assisted testing tools and modern quality engineering practices is highly desirable.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.

Our client is building a new AI-focused software development organization responsible for developing a portfolio of internal applications, including AI-powered products and agents, financial and business applications, internal generative AI platforms, and cloud-native solutions hosted in AWS. Development is organized into small, highly collaborative cross-functional pods consisting of Principal Engineers/Architects, Software Developers, Product Managers, and dedicated QA Engineers. A key aspect of the model is that QA is embedded directly within each development pod, partnering closely with engineering and product teams throughout the software lifecycle rather than operating as a centralized testing function.

The organization is focused on delivering scalable, AI-enabled solutions while fostering strong collaboration, shared ownership of quality, and rapid innovation. They are building the next generation of custom agentic applications to support "the business of law" services through the responsible use of artificial intelligence.

We are seeking strong QA Engineers to join the development pods, focused on end to end testing but more heavily weighted to backend. The Senior Quality Assurance Engineers contribute to the delivery of our client's AI-enabled software development initiatives by ensuring software quality, reliability, and production readiness across web, cloud, and enterprise applications. These engineers will be responsible for end to end testing, lead testing strategy, test planning, execution, defect management, and release validation activities while working closely with Product Owners and Software Developers within Agile delivery pods.

The role combines traditional quality engineering practices with modern automation and AI-assisted testing approaches to improve software quality and delivery outcomes.
