Our client is seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer / Software Engineer to design, develop, and implement an end-to-end event-driven data processing pipeline on AWS. The ideal candidate will have strong Python and AWS experience and will be responsible for building scalable, resilient, and production-ready solutions that process configuration-based messages, orchestrate data workflows, and integrate with downstream services running on AWS.
Required- Strong hands-on programming experience with Python
. - Strong experience with AWS services, including:
- Amazon EKS
- AWS Lambda
- Amazon API Gateway
- Amazon SQS
- Amazon S3
- AWS event-driven architectures and event triggers
- Experience with Docker and containerization.
- Strong knowledge of Kubernetes and kubectl for cluster management and troubleshooting.
- Strong experience with Terraform and Infrastructure-as-Code practices.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and cloud-native application development.
- Experience building and supporting scalable, resilient cloud-based applications.
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience with Snowflake and cloud-based data platforms.
- Knowledge of data engineering, ETL processes, and distributed systems.
- Familiarity with AWS monitoring and observability tools.
- Experience working in Agile development environments and cross-functional teams.
- Experience supporting applications across Development, UAT, and Production environments.
The successful candidate will play a key role in building and operationalizing a modern, event-driven AWS platform that enables scalable data processing and seamless integration across multiple environments.
