As an Associate Enterprise Integration Engineer, you will be responsible for assisting in the enterprise integration team in building and maintaining integration & data pipelines. You will work with complex business application integrations, and large-volume data pipelines and help construct them in a way that is easy to scale and supports company requirements. You will also be responsible for developing and testing architectures that enable data extraction and transformation.
Responsibilities- Responsible for overall design and development of integrations and/or data pipelines based on project needs.
- Design, deploy, and sustain solutions that enable the sharing of data across multiple platforms, applications, and devices to facilitate connecting both internal and external systems.
- Leverage integration platforms including, but not limited to, Apache Hop, Airflow, Boomi, Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS), Kafka, Azure PaaS Integration Stack i.e. Logic Apps, Service Bus & API Management, etc.
- Strong Understanding of EAI design patterns.
- Data Architecture and API concepts.
- Hands‑on experience implementing Web Services (SOAP and RESTful) using Boomi, Java, Python, etc.
- Hands‑on experience with AI Engineering tools like Claude, Codex, Cursor, etc. preferred.
- Experience with all phases of development including Extraction, Transformation, and Loading (ETL) from various sources to intended target destinations.
- Experience with Web Services specifications, WS‑I, WS‑Addressing, WS‑Security, SAML, etc.
- Experience with industry‑standard or internal canonical models.
- Experience with LINUX and an IDE such as Eclipse and JDeveloper.
- Proficiency with JSON, XML, XML Schema, XPath, XSLT, XQUERY, WADL, REST, WSDL, SOAP & SQL.
- Practical application debugging and troubleshooting skills.
- Integration experience with Messaging, UDDI, API Manager.
- Experience with SoapUI or similar web service testing tool.
- Exposure to Dev Ops principles and well‑versed with continuous integration & continuous deployment (CI/CD).
- Exposure integrating with Enterprise Business Applications like Salesforce, Zuora, Eloqua, Oracle E‑Business Suite, etc. is desired.
- Assists other developers in solution architecture and problem‑solving.
- Creates detailed technical documentation for existing and newly developed solutions.
- Performs code reviews and design sessions with team members.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are mandatory.
- Ability to coordinate development tasks with offshore teams.
- Ability to multi‑task and work in a fast‑paced environment.
- Ability to work in a team environment and under tight time frames.
- Ability to work in Agile or Waterfall Project methodologies.
PTC carefully considers a wide variety of factors when determining compensation. The anticipated annual salary range for this position is between $70,000 - $90,000. The salary range reflects a good‑faith estimate of compensation at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on a candidate's skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Additionally, candidates may be eligible for a performance‑based bonus.
