Yoga is one of our fastest-growing programs, with classes like YOGA, YOGA: CHILL, YOGA: SCULPT, and hybrid offerings like YOGA X STRENGTH. Across these class types, B/SPOKE YOGA brings together breathwork, powerful music, a deep respect and appreciation for yogic philosophy, and movement to create a YOGA experience unlike any other.

CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • For YOGA: SCULPT: Must have a 50-HR YSTT Certification. Interested in teaching a Vinyasa-Based, on-the-beat Yoga Sculpt class that follows the B/SPOKE YOGA: SCULPT structure, which allows for freedom and creativity for the Instructor while providing consistency for our clients. While 200HR certification is not required, candidates with YOGA and YOGA: SCULPT certifications may be preferred.
  • Be available to teach primarily at our East Boston location, with the possibility of supporting at our Federal St. location.
  • At least one year of proven experience and success teaching YOGA: SCULPT in a group fitness setting.
  • Have a passion for teaching, motivating, and inspiring others.
  • Demonstrate an ability to craft an all-levels, accessible class supported by energetically matched music.
  • Demonstrate a deep respect for the extensive history and culture of yogic practice.
  • Possess a coachable attitude and be receptive to feedback.
  • Maintain a high level of brand knowledge and ability to connect with Clients.
  • Ability to deliver a high-quality experience consistently across all classes and client interactions.
  • Stand for diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging through day-to-day actions, and be willing to participate in studio initiatives, challenges, and learning opportunities.
  • Promote and maintain the B/SPOKE culture of contagious energy, collaboration, teamwork, and support - both on AND off the mat and mic.
AUDIENS / TRAINING SCHEDULE & EXPECTATIONS
  • Auditions will be held IN PERSON at our EAST BOSTON Studio.
  • Have availability to train with our B/SPOKE YOGA Founding Instructors VIRTUALLY & IN-PERSON according to the training schedule. Training is hybrid, with a combination of self‑paced asynchronous learning in our Learning Management system & in‑person sessions. Candidates invited to training will have about 2 weeks to complete their online learning path. Then, additional in‑person cohort sessions will be held for a total of 4-6 hours of in‑person training time.

    Training timeline may vary based on experience and familiarity with the B/SPOKE brand YOGA: SCULPT. In‑person sessions may be held in South Boston, Downtown Boston, East Boston, or across all studios. Candidates should expect in‑person cohort sessions over the weekends of April 11th and April 18th. Candidates cannot miss sessions. Make‑up sessions can be considered on an as‑needed basis, contingent on the availability of our training team.
  • Take at least one YOGA: SCULPT class every week at various B/SPOKE studios, with multiple instructors from the time you are invited into training onwards.
  • Have a reliable music‑playing device other than a cell phone.
AVAILABILITY EXPECTATIONS
  • Have the ability and willingness to teach at least three classes/week, at least one of which will be on a weekend (Sat/Sun). Be willing to accept additional subbing opportunities pending completion of training and schedule availability.
  • Access to reliable transportation and willingness to travel between EASTIE and, ideally, all Boston studios, with a focus on supporting our Federal St. studio. We only seek serious candidates who can commit to permanent classes (plus sub opportunities)…
