Overview

Responsibilities- Diagnosis, troubleshoot, and make necessary repairs. Included but not limited to engines, chassis, axles, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.
- Perform scheduled & preventative maintenance on Ducks and fleet vehicles.
- Conducts failure analysis, repairs, and components correctly. Included but not limited to differentials, transfer cases, and axles.
- Conduct overhauls as needed during off-season
- Perform service calls for emergency breakdowns during peak season
- Work with drivers on vehicle concerns and outstanding maintenance issues.
- Minimum of 5 years hands on experience (diesel engines/heavy equipment preferred)
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Ability and comfortability to work on 6ft/8ft ladders
- The drive and willingness to learn and grow within Boston Duck Tours
- Valid Driver's License
- CDL preferred, not required. (Additional $1.50 p/hr.)
- Welding knowledge preferred, not required (Additional $1.50 p/hr.)
Safety - Due to the safety sensitive nature of this position, employees must meet DOT/FMCSA requirements (including pre-employment and random drug & alcohol testing).
Pay- $33.00 - $40.00 based on experience
- $4,000 Sign-On and Retention Bonus
