The Garage Valet Attendant is a customer service position involving parking and retrieving vehicles for customers. The primary responsibility is to provide a positive and efficient parking experience, engaging with guests in a friendly manner and ensuring safe and efficient service.

• Keep the safety of self and others in mind at all times
• Park customers' vehicles in designated spots, ensuring they are safe and secure
• Track keys and vehicles throughout the garage
• Provide an exceptional guest experience
• Maintain organization at operation
• Be enthusiastic, creating a positive environment for customers and teammates
• Use professional communication and VPNE-approved language choices
• Facilitate the transition at the end of the shift
• Provide information about the garage (hours, rates, promotions) upon request
• Maintain a neatly groomed appearance
• Perform cleaning duties as assigned
• Adhere to the VPNE attendance policy
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures, including wearing appropriate safety gear and reporting hazards or incidents promptly
• Fill out damage or accident supports as needed

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Able to smile during customer interactions
• Possess an upbeat personality, a willingness to go the extra mile, and a strong work ethic
• Maintain uniform standards when on job premises
• Ability to read, write and verbally communicate in English
• Ability to move quickly
• Ability to organize cars efficiently
• Ability to stand for long periods
• Ability to safely operate vehicles and pass a driving test on a manual transmission vehicle
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
• Possess a valid driver’s license
• Be able to pass a criminal background check and RMV check
• Ability to create relationships with customers
• Be organized
• Clean driving record deemed insurable by VPNE’s current insurance provider
