Position Summary
The primary functions of the Delivery Helper are to load, locate job sites, backup, prepare and restore the job site, and prepare the truck for the following day while maintaining the truck and equipment.
Duties and Responsibilities- Compliance with company, state and federal guidelines, particularly as it relates to OSHA and DOT for safety of all personnel.
- Perform pre‑trip inspections of equipment, paperwork, and loaded product to ensure order accuracy.
- Safely unload product and deliver to the assigned area as directed by the customer.
- Secure mud, equipment, metal, and pallets on the truck.
- Navigates routes to the job site.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate information accurately.
- Stamina to lift at least 75 lbs. to carry materials such as drywall and joint compound.
- Display trust and integrity, serve others, and value diverse perspectives.
- Work independently and on a team, lead, execute and/or delegate as needed.
- Establish effective relationships at every level of the organization.

- Communicate professionally, both verbally and in writing, with coworkers and customers.
Must stand 90% of the time, move from unloading materials from heavy‑goods vehicles onto the job site, unload and load materials from flatbeds or booms, and frequently move materials weighing up to 100 lbs. Must be able to communicate with management and coworkers and exchange accurate information in all situations. Must work in an outside environment while making deliveries.
