Position Summary
The primary function of a delivery driver is to safely and efficiently operate a commercial motor vehicle in compliance with company policies, Federal and State regulations, and to deliver all freight undamaged. The driver works as a team player to deliver, load ad materials while providing a world class customer service experience.
Duties & Responsibilities- Inspect truck/trailer for defects to ensure safe operation. Safely load building materials onto flatbed or boom truck and unload products at commercial and residential job sites. Deliver materials to assigned areas as directed by the customer while prioritizing personal safety and the safety of those around you.
- Maintain records required for compliance with State and Federal regulations.
- Report all accidents involving driver or company equipment. Lifting heavy building materials up to 100+ lbs for load/unload. Demonstrate excellent customer service skills and a professional attitude.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL). Minimum Class B License;
Class A strongly preferred. - Clear three-year Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).
- Overall knowledge of Department of Transportation regulations.

- Remain in a stationary position while driving a commercial vehicle 40% of the time.
- Lifting heavy building materials up to 80 lbs for loading and unloading.
- Move materials weighing up to 80 lbs while unloading flatbed.
- Operate commercial vehicle and/or boom vehicle; judge distance while delivering materials and/or operating boom.
- Communicate with management and coworkers to exchange accurate information.
- Work constantly outdoors while making deliveries.
- Prioritize job sites and deadlines.
- Manage stress based on customer deadlines.
- Multitask effectively.
- Receive and follow information and directions.
- Communicate solutions quickly when problems occur.
- Demonstrate sound judgment.
The base salary for this position typically falls within the range of $28.22 to $35.91 per hour. Starting wage may vary based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the position being offered, location, education, training, and/or experience. This role may be eligible for overtime, performance-based bonuses, commissions, car allowance, or automobile and fuel program, and reimbursement for travel expenses in accordance with company travel policy.
