Job SummaryLocal route Truck Drivers (CDL A or
B) are responsible for loading galley equipment onto a truck, driving the truck to various types of aircraft, and unloading the equipment. Local CDL Truck Drivers usually drive on local public roads, outside of the airport and terminal.
- Load equipment onto the truck.
- Drive the truck to the aircraft (Local airport).
- Load galleys according to customer guidelines (Local airport).
- Unload dirty equipment and place it and trash in the designated area (Local facility).
- Complete all activities according to customer guidelines while adhering to safety and sanitation regulations.
- Interact with airline representatives at the aircraft (Local airport).
- Follow directions.
- Work as a member of the Transportation team.
- Perform additional duties as deemed necessary by management.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
- Work Experience: Up to one year preferred.
- Technical
Skills:- Current U.S. driver’s license.
- CDL Class A or B required (all local routes and airport).
- Some locations may require a Customs Seal from local airport authority.
- Language/Communication
Skills:- Must be able to read and write to complete required forms.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and co‑workers.
- Work assigned schedule which may vary and could include weekends and holidays (all local routes and airport).
- Work overtime when required.
- Arrive at work on time (Local facility).
- Comply with company policies.
- Complete paperwork and related administrative duties.
- Must be 21 years of age.
- Exposed to extreme temperature changes and noise.
- Majority of duties performed outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Must be able to lift, push, pull, and move product, equipment and supplies up to 50 pounds frequently during shifts.
- Regularly standing, bending, lifting, and moving intermittently during shifts of 8+ hours.
- Must be able to work at heights up to 25 feet or more depending upon aircraft.

Our workforce needs to remain flexible in your shifts and days off, as your schedule may fluctuate during peak seasons to meet production needs, requirements of the industry or to accommodate a shift bid in accordance with the Union contract. Dues and initiation fees are taken the first Thursday of the month, after the required probation period.
