CDL Class A Truck Driver

Position Overview

G. Greene Construction is seeking a dependable and experienced CDL Class A Truck Driver to support our construction operations. This role involves transporting materials, equipment, and machinery to and from job sites while ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance with all regulations.

• Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles (dump trucks, tractor-trailers, low-beds, etc.)
• Transport construction materials, aggregates, and heavy equipment to job sites
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance
• Secure loads properly and ensure safe transport of materials and equipment
• Coordinate with dispatch, yard personnel, and site supervisors for timely deliveries
• Maintain accurate logs and comply with DOT regulations
• Input vehicle issues, maintenance needs, and daily reports into HCSS Equipment

• Maintain cleanliness of assigned truck, including interior and exterior, to company standards
• Report any vehicle issues, maintenance needs, or safety concerns
• Assist with loading/unloading when necessary

• Valid CDL Class A license (required)
• Clean driving record
• Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
• Experience operating commercial trucks in construction or similar environment
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality

• Experience hauling heavy equipment (lowbed/flatbed)
• Hoisting license (Massachusetts)
• Familiarity with local routes and job site conditions
• Basic mechanical knowledge
