Regional freight demand and route consistency give this CDL A truck driver position a straightforward operating schedule. CK Transportation is hiring for a Northeast regional fleet with established freight corridors, primarily no-touch dry van loads, and planned dispatch designed to keep the workweek organized.

• Mostly no-touch dry van with frequent drop-and-hook freight
• $1,200 minimum weekly pay available for qualifying drivers
• Assigned 2019 or newer Freightliner Cascadia

Drivers travel established lanes throughout Massachusetts, New York, Pennsylvania, Ohio, New Jersey, and surrounding Northeast states. The operation follows a Monday through Friday schedule, with drivers working back toward home for a full 48-hour weekend reset.

Dispatch coordinates upcoming assignments in advance whenever possible. This helps create smoother transitions between loads and gives drivers greater familiarity with the freight network over time. Repeat regional corridors also provide a more structured operating pattern than constantly changing lanes from one week to the next.

Orientation lasts approximately 2.5 days. Hotel accommodations and meals are provided throughout orientation, and drivers receive $500 during the process. Lane information, dispatcher contacts, and operating expectations are reviewed before the first assignment.

Weekly earnings range from $1,350 to $1,550 based on miles and performance. Payroll is processed every Friday. Qualifying drivers also have access to a $1,200 minimum weekly pay program. Benefits include health insurance, paid vacation, holiday pay, safety incentives, E-Z Pass, and I-Pass coverage.

Applicants must be at least 21 years old and possess a valid Class A CDL. Experience requirements can be satisfied with 3 months of OTR experience within the last year, 6 months of OTR or local experience within the last year, or 1 year of OTR experience within the past 3 years.

Drivers operate 2019 or newer Freightliner Cascadia tractors with automatic transmissions. Equipment includes APUs, inverters, refrigerators, double bunks, SiriusXM capability, and TV setup options. Trucks follow a regular preventive maintenance schedule to support reliable day-to-day operation.
