The Role:
We are seeking a Partner Marketing Director – Analyst Relations to lead IonQ’s ecosystem marketing and market influence strategy, driving partner‑driven growth and shaping external perception through world‑class analyst and partner engagement. The role sits at the intersection of partnerships, product marketing, and go‑to‑market strategy—ensuring that IonQ’s strategic alliances, technology ecosystem, and category leadership are clearly articulated, amplified, and validated in the market.
You will own the strategy and execution for partner marketing programs and analyst relations, aligning joint go‑to‑market initiatives, ecosystem narratives, and third‑party validation to accelerate pipeline, strengthen market positioning, and reinforce IonQ’s leadership in full‑stack quantum computing, networking, sensing, security, and infrastructure.
The ideal candidate is a cross‑functional leader, strategic storyteller and content creator, and a relationship builder—someone who can translate complex technology into compelling narratives, while building trusted partnerships with analysts, partners, and internal stakeholders. You will bring structure and scale to how IonQ activates its ecosystem and influences the market.
Responsibilities
:
- Own IonQ’s global partner marketing strategy, developing joint go‑to‑market programs with strategic partners across cloud, government, and enterprise ecosystems.
- Define and execute co‑marketing initiatives including joint campaigns, solution launches, events, and content that drive pipeline and customer engagement.
- Build scalable frameworks for partner activation, including messaging alignment, campaign playbooks, and performance tracking.
- Lead IonQ’s analyst relations program, managing relationships with key industry analysts (e.g., Gartner, IDC, Forrester) and ensuring consistent, proactive engagement.
- Drive and deliver compelling analyst briefings with cross‑functional leaders/experts, develop analyst inquiries, and strategic narratives that position IonQ as a category leader in quantum computing, networking, sensing, and security.
- Drive participation in major analyst evaluations, reports, and market landscapes, ensuring strong representation and differentiation.
- Partner closely with product marketing to translate technical innovation into clear, differentiated narratives for partners and analysts.
- Collaborate with communications and PR to amplify third‑party validation, analyst coverage, and partner announcements.
- Align partner marketing and analyst insights with broader company messaging, campaigns, and executive communications.
- Act as the connective tissue across partnerships, marcomms, product, and sales to ensure consistent ecosystem messaging and execution.
- Support strategic account efforts by activating partners in priority deals and enterprise opportunities.
