Operational Technology Coordinator
The primary role of the Operational Technology Coordinator is to ensure reliable deployment, configuration, and ongoing operational support of classroom and instructional technology systems, devices, and digital resources that teachers and students depend on. This position provides support and coordination for the operational and logistical functions of this instructional technology and serves as a primary operational liaison between schools and Technology Services.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Coordinate the installation, deployment, and implementation of instructional classroom hardware and software across all schools, serving as the operational liaison between school campuses, Technology Services teams, and the Digital Learning team, and applicable vendor partners.Coordinate and lead the operational components of the district's classroom technology deployment cycles, distribution and collection logistics, repair and replacement workflows, in collaboration with Technology and Capital Project staff.In collaboration with the Digital Learning team, assists in analyzing technology trends and perform research to evaluate the compatibility, supportability, security, and data privacy compliance of new and existing classroom technologies; recommend district technology standards including hardware, software, delivery systems, and support structures.Coordinate and administer the operational configuration of multiple district device environments, including device enrollment, configuration, application deployment, and security policies through endpoint management platforms. Assist in take-home program logistics.Coordinate with the Capital Projects team to maintain classroom technology standards for new construction, coordinate classroom moves of technology equipment and ensure that technology tools in renovated and new buildings are consistent with the standards to meet instructional needs.Administer the operational configuration of district instructional platforms and digital learning tools, including learning management systems and classroom management software. Assist in provisioning, rostering, and account integrations of software solutions.Partner with the technology asset specialist on inventory accountability and asset lifecycle tracking, and support district assessment technology requirements, including device readiness and configuration for state and national testing programsProvide operational guidance, documentation, operational/productivity training, and escalation support to School Technology Specialists; develop and maintain knowledge base articles, deployment procedures, and standard operating documentation for technology systems; work in collaboration with technology support and hardware staff to escalate to vendor support when needed.Lead and coordinate teams of technology staff and technology assistants assigned to deployment projects, providing training, guidance, and oversight to staff participating in deployment activities.Collect, maintain, and report operational data on classroom technology and devices, including device inventory for lifecycle management, usage analytics, and support trends to inform district decision-making and resource allocation.Effectively manage projects of various complexities, frequently more than one at a time.Take initiative for continued personal and professional growth.Attend district meetings, team meetings, and training as required.Perform other duties as assigned consistent with the scope and intent of the employee assignment.Reporting Relationships:
Reports to the Assistant Director of Technology Support.
Working Conditions:
Required to collaborate and communicate effectively with all stakeholders; required to meet inflexible deadlines; requires mental and visual concentration; requires occasional prolonged exposure to visual displays; occasionally required to deal with distraught or frustrated people; occasionally required to work flexible and irregular hours to complete tasks; required to operate a motor vehicle and travel between sites.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education and Experience
The successful candidate will have an associate degree or higher and a minimum of three (3) years' experience providing technical support in a K12 instructional environment. Required experience managing and deploying a variety of classroom equipment, administering digital learning software platforms, and sustaining positive interpersonal relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
