Quality Technician
Associate degree in a technical or engineering discipline, or a Quality Technician Certification (e.g., ASQ CQT) is highly preferred. A "quality-first" mindset with a proven track record of precision. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. A self-starter who is willing to learn, grow, and support other QA functions as required.
Monitor and inspect production processes to ensure products meet quality standards and specifications. Perform in-process inspections, sampling, and measurements using calibrated instruments and tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, thread gauges. Train production personnel on quality procedures, proper documentation, and best practices. Accurately document quality metrics, deviations, and non-conformances, demonstrating the ability to translate frontline production insights into technical engineering specifications.
Support in implementation of process improvements to enhance efficiency and product quality. Facilitate 5S activities and support EHS activities when requested. Analyze inspection data to identify trends, improve and reduce production downtime. Author detailed non-conformance reports and ensure material segregation protocols (red tagging/quarantine) are strictly followed to prevent accidental use.
