Ready Mix Concrete Sales Representative

Heidelberg Materials is seeking a Ready Mix Concrete Sales Representative to grow sales of ready-mixed concrete across commercial, residential, and infrastructure projects. In this role, you will develop and manage customer accounts, prepare quotes, and coordinate with operations to ensure timely, quality deliveries. You'll identify new business opportunities, track market trends, and provide technical product guidance. This position requires regular jobsite visits, strong relationship-building skills, and a focus on safety, service, and profitability in a fast-paced construction materials environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and grow sales of ready-mix concrete within assigned territory
• Manage and retain existing customer accounts and relationships
• Prospect and secure new commercial, residential, and infrastructure business
• Prepare pricing, quotes, and proposals aligned with company strategy
• Coordinate with dispatch, operations, and logistics to ensure on-time deliveries
• Conduct regular jobsite and customer visits to monitor service and product performance
• Provide technical guidance on concrete mixes, specifications, and applications
• Track market trends, competitors, and project pipelines to identify opportunities
• Meet or exceed sales, margin, and customer satisfaction targets
• Maintain accurate CRM records, reports, and forecasts while adhering to safety policies
