Seatown, a fintech innovator, is seeking an HVAC Service Technician to support our HVAC Wholesale operations within the Technical & Maintenance department. In this role, you'll install, troubleshoot, and maintain commercial and light industrial HVAC systems supporting mission-critical fintech infrastructure. Responsibilities include diagnostics, repairs, preventive maintenance, start ups, and system optimization for energy efficiency and reliability. Collaborate with diverse technical teams, maintain detailed service records, and ensure compliance with safety and industry standards in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment.
Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair commercial and light industrial HVAC systems
- Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and system start-ups
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control issues using appropriate tools and meters
- Optimize system performance for energy efficiency and reliability
- Respond to service calls, assess issues, and provide timely, high-quality repairs
- Maintain accurate service records, work orders, and parts usage logs
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, codes, and company standards
- Collaborate with technical, facilities, and operations teams to support mission-critical environments
- Advise on replacement, upgrades, and improvements to HVAC equipment
- Provide occasional on-call and after-hours support as needed
Required Skills
- HVAC system diagnostics
- Commercial HVAC installation and repair
- Refrigeration cycle knowledge
- Reading blueprints and schematics
- Electrical troubleshooting (low and line voltage)
- Controls and thermostats (including digital/BMS)
- Brazing, soldering, and pipe fitting
- Use of HVAC tools, gauges, and meters
- Preventive maintenance planning
- EPA refrigerant handling procedures
