Lead Construction Supervisor Opportunity in Boulder City, NV
Are you an experienced construction professional with over 15 years of experience in managing and overseeing large-scale construction projects? We are seeking a Lead Construction Supervisor to join our dynamic team in Boulder City, NV. This role offers the opportunity to work on exciting energy projects, providing strategic oversight and ensuring compliance with regulatory and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide strategic oversight for project execution, ensuring regulatory compliance and optimizing routing decisions under uncertainty.
- Lead multi-disciplinary teams to address routing risks, integrating financial and engineering concerns.
- Oversee project buildout to ensure safety and quality standards are met.
- Communicate and coordinate with contractors, supervisors, management, and other stakeholders.
- Manage construction schedules and ensure safety compliance.
- Oversee quality control/quality assurance to ensure work meets design requirements and standards.
- Prepare project updates and reports per NEET requirements.
- Act as a liaison between Contractor & NEET Project Management.
- Conduct environmental oversight.
- Associate degree or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Power Generation, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 15 years of experience managing and overseeing large-scale construction projects, including gen tie and transmission projects.
- Extensive experience in high-level project decision-making, risk mitigation, and leadership within a highly regulated construction environment.
- Excellent communication skills and experience in performing routing and siting tradeoff decisions in the presence of uncertainty.
- Ability to travel within the US approximately 25% of the time.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Experience with route refinement using value engineering or other applicable concepts to optimize criteria for late-stage activities including permitting prior to construction.
- Comfortable discussing risks with various subject matter experts including Engineering & Construction, Environmental Services, Legal, Development, and Land.
