Responsibilities:

• Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk‑in cooler.
• Prepare product and process telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.
• Perform orientation and on‑job training.
• Comprehend and give written instructions; communicate verbally with customers and co‑workers.
• Accurately add, subtract, multiply, and divide monetary amounts and provide correct monetary change.
• Enter orders using computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Follow safety and quality control standards.

Work Conditions:

• Exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather when performing outside tasks.
• In‑store temperatures range from 36°F in cooler to 90°F or higher in some work areas.
• Exposure to food odors, cornmeal dust, and fumes.
• Work in cramped quarters including walk‑in cooler; hot surfaces/tools up to 500°F.
• Exposure to sharp edges and moving mechanical parts.
• Required verbal, writing, and telephone skills; ability to differentiate hot and cold surfaces.

Physical Requirements:

• Standing: most tasks performed from a standing position; walking surfaces include ceramic tile and linoleum.
• Lifting: may lift up to 50 pounds or more; unloading deliveries with hand truck; stacking cases up to 72" high.
• Carrying: large cans, pizza sauce, and trays of dough up to 12 pounds.
• Forward bending, crouching, squatting, and reaching above 72".
• Use of hand‑tools (pizza peel, rolling cutter, pizza cutter) and touch stickers; eye‑hand coordination required.
