Job Title

This position is located in the Lower Colorado Basin Region (LCB), Regional Office, Budget, Performance and Policy Group located in Boulder City, Nevada.

Major Duties

The purpose of this position is to manage and direct all aspects of budget planning, analysis, formulation, justification, presentation, execution, and review of Regional multi-year programs. At the full performance level (GS-13) the major duties of this position include, but are not limited to the following:

Plans, directs, and oversees regional budget planning, formulation, execution, and financial management activities.

Analyzes budget estimates, funding requirements, expenditures, and financial data to support sound budget decisions.

Reviews, approves, and monitors budget requests, funding allocations, and the use of multiple funding sources.

Provides expert budget guidance and technical advice to management on budget policies, procedures, and financial matters.

Develops and implements budget policies, procedures, reporting requirements, and internal financial controls.

Coordinates budget activities with regional leadership, headquarters, the Department, OMB, and other stakeholders.

Supervises, leads, and develops a regional budget staff to accomplish organizational goals.

Salary Range Information (Per Annum): GS-13: $108,719 - $ 141,337
* First time hires to the federal government typically start at the beginning salary in the range for their respective grade level.
