Solution Architect – RVP, Solution Architecture

Solution Architects are the technical experts in the technology sales process, combining strong technical skills with excellent communication and presentation abilities. At Out Systems, the RVP, Solution Architecture provides hands‑on leadership to a fast‑moving team, guiding solution architects across multiple regions and driving strategy for recruitment, ramp, performance, and retention.

• Guide the Solution Architect management team in best practices throughout sales campaigns while allowing autonomy.
• Participate in strategic discussions of the company and engage in global practices initiatives, responsible for strategic cadences and practice redefinition toward company goals.
• Act as an IT expert and evangelist, supporting customers in technical evaluation through high‑quality presentations and workshops for developers, architects, IT managers, and CxOs.
• Demonstrate thought leadership and creative thinking to sustain aggressive growth.
• Analyze customers' functional and technical requirements to design technical solutions.
• Work closely with the sales team in creating proposals that present compelling technical solutions tailored to customer needs.
• Understand customers' IT architecture to clarify the strategic fit of Out Systems technology within their ecosystem.
• Collaborate with the Out Systems Solution delivery team to deliver successful Proofs of Concept (PoCs).
• Partner with Out Systems partners to develop technical sales capabilities and competencies.

• 6+ years successfully leading a team of Solution Architects.
• 12+ years related experience in a software company, including project management and/or enterprise‑grade solution architecture.
• BS/BA in computer science or similar; additional degree or experience demonstrating business acumen or consulting is a plus.
• Knowledge of web or mobile app development, business modeling, database concepts, and project management, preferably using Agile Development Methodologies.
• Outstanding oral, written, and presentation skills with the ability to organize and present technical material in an easily understood manner.
• Strong experience developing and planning budgets and growth plans.
• Deep insight into technical architectures, IT products, and product positioning.
• Strong business acumen is a plus.
• Ability to travel.

Base salary range: $233,000 – $285,000.
