Job SummarySupporting and maintaining the WMS‑Red Prairie system, including installation, updates, troubleshooting, and ensuring optimal performance for users. Acts as the primary system super user for the client’s technology solutions.
Responsibilities- Provide primary support for client’s systems solutions and develop tracking tools for support service requests.
- Engage expert resources for complex issues outside of WMS‑Red Prairie and SAP applications.
- Collaborate with teams to close service requests, support testing, and implement system improvements.
- Maintain system efficiency by testing, coordinating modifications, and troubleshooting problems.
- Communicate IT information to site and client management and coordinate with corporate IT and operations staff.
- Generate regular reports (daily, weekly, monthly) and maintain RF SOPs.
- Train associates on updated SOPs, Microsoft Office, WMS programs, and RF guns.
- Respond to inquiries, refer questions to appropriate personnel, and maintain professional communication.
- Assist with research and special projects, oversee manpower recruitment, retention, and development, and set goals for continuous improvement.
- Perform any additional duties as required.
- Mid to Senior Microsoft Office proficiency.
- Technical knowledge of relevant technologies for assigned applications.
- Experience with Red Prairie, RF/RDTs, UNIX, Wi‑Fi systems, and RF equipment.
- Proficient in English (reading, writing, verbal).
- Strong interpersonal, communication, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
- Business and financial acumen.
- A four‑year degree in a computer‑related field or a two‑year degree plus relevant experience (minimum two years).
- Three to five years of related experience preferred.
- Experience with end users, vendors, clients, and business intelligence components.
