Our client is a pioneering biotech company at the forefront of AAV gene therapy, seeking a visionary Executive Director of Clinical Development to lead clinical strategy and advance two first-in-class programs into the clinic in 2025. This is a high-impact, fully remote role for a physician-scientist with deep expertise in gene therapy and/or immunology.

• Lead cross-functional clinical teams and shape program strategy from IND through early development.
• Design and execute Phase 1/2 trials; interact with global health authorities and KOLs.
• Drive protocol development, clinical data analysis, and scientific insight.
• Serve as a core advisor to senior leadership, ensuring scientific rigor and speed.

• M.D. with board certification or eligibility in Genetics or a related field.
• 4+ years in biotech/pharma; proven success in gene therapy clinical development is essential.
• Skilled in early-phase trial execution, IND filings, and regulatory interactions.
• Experience in neurodegenerative diseases is a plus.
• Thrives in entrepreneurial, fast-paced settings.
