Position Overview
Shields Point LLC hires Armed Security Guards to support the WAPA Protective Services Contract in Mead Nevada. Guards maintain safety and security protocols, safeguard personnel, property and assets within the premises. This full‑time position includes 8/12 hour shifts on days, nights, and weekends.

DHS Suitability.
Location:
NV Boulder City WAPA – Boulder City, NV 89005 (Primary).
Pay: $22.13 per hour.
Responsibilities- Provide access control.
- Conduct foot patrols.
- Monitor alarms and assess situations.
- Write reports.
- Protect government personnel and property.
- Respond to emergencies calmly and effectively.
- Communicate professionally with customers, employees, and visitors.
- Perform other duties as directed.
- U.S. Citizen.
- At least 21 years of age.
- High school diploma or GED certificate.
- Pass a medical examination, drug screen and federal background investigation when required.
- Must have two or any reasonable combination of the following:
- Three years of experience in the security industry, military, or law enforcement.
- Associate degree or completion of twenty‑four college credits.
- Active, retired or honorably discharged service in the U.S. Armed Forces, National Guard, or Reserve.
- Graduation from a law enforcement basic academy.
- When required, successfully complete all training, including firearms qualifications, pepper spray, CPR, First Aid, and expandable baton.
- Fluently speak, read, and comprehend English.
- Possess good communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate complex concepts.
- State Guard License required.
- State Driver License required.
