Role & Responsibilities- Review complex federal and multi-state income tax returns for corporations, partnerships, S-corporations, and trusts
- Prepare and review individual, business, gift, and estate tax returns with a strong focus on accuracy and efficiency
- Supervise and mentor staff, reviewing their work and offering constructive feedback
- Lead and coordinate detailed tax research and planning initiatives for clients across a variety of industries
- Analyze prior-year filings to identify opportunities for tax planning and process improvements
- Develop tax projections and strategies for individuals and business entities
- Partner with internal teams to provide thoughtful and effective client solutions
- Manage and respond to inquiries, audits, and notices from the IRS and state agencies
- Stay current with evolving tax laws and trends to anticipate client needs
- Build the technical, leadership, and advisory skills necessary to advance into a Tax Manager role
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 3–5 years of public accounting experience focused on tax
- CPA license or active CPA candidate with ongoing exam progress
- At least 2 years of supervisory experience
- Strong technical background in tax preparation, compliance, and review
- Proven ability to manage multiple engagements and deadlines
- Excellent communication and client service skills
- Open to feedback, collaborative, and committed to continuous learning
