Senior Accounting Consultant

Job Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of financial accounting projects
• Complete monthly financial statement close process
• Perform data collection and analysis for senior care and living projects
• Prepare Medicaid and Medicare cost reports for various provider types

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
• CPA preferred but not required
• 3+ years of full charge staff accountant experience
• 3+ years minimum experience with computerized accounting systems
• Experience with Point Click Care  or Sage Intacct preferred;
  Yardi, Peachtree and/or Creative Solutions a plus
• Fixed assets and depreciation experience
• Knowledge of payroll including preparation of quarterly and annual payroll tax filings
• Travel throughout the eastern and central time zones on occasion with approximately 5% overnight travel
