CPA Opportunity | Build a Modern Advisory Practice

The Opportunity:

I'm looking for an experienced CPA who wants to build more than a traditional accounting practice.

The right person will lead the accounting and tax side of a growing advisory platform while working alongside an M&A advisory and founder consulting business. This is an opportunity to serve business owners throughout their entire journey, from improving financial performance and reducing taxes to preparing for a business sale and planning for life after an exit.

This is not a typical employee role. It is best suited for someone who wants meaningful client relationships, enjoys solving business problems, and is interested in helping shape a growing practice.

Depending on your experience and interests, responsibilities may include:

• Build and manage a CPA practice serving founder-led businesses.
• Provide tax planning and compliance services.
• Review financial statements and improve reporting accuracy.
• Develop cash flow, KPI, and financial performance dashboards.
• Advise clients on profitability, growth, and operational performance.
• Support business valuations, due diligence, and transaction preparation.
• Assist business owners preparing for acquisitions, capital raises, or the sale of their company.
• Collaborate on client strategies involving tax, business value, and long-term wealth planning.

We primarily work with privately held businesses that want to grow, become more valuable, and eventually transition ownership.

You are someone who:

• Is a licensed CPA in good standing.
• Enjoys working directly with business owners.
• Thinks beyond tax returns and financial statements.
• Has strong financial and analytical skills.
• Communicates complex topics clearly.
• Is organized, responsive, and professional.
• Is interested in business strategy, entrepreneurship, and M&A.
• Enjoys building systems and improving client experiences.

Experience with business valuations, transaction advisory, fractional CFO services, or exit planning is helpful but not required.

Compensation will be based on experience, availability, and the scope of responsibilities.

The structure is intentionally flexible and can evolve as the practice grows. For the right person, there may be opportunities to take on additional leadership, expand responsibilities, or participate in future ventures as they develop.
