What You’ll DoYou’ll play a key role in keeping our billing and Accounts Receivable operations running smoothly. Your work will directly support our financial accuracy, customer satisfaction, and overall operational success.
Daily responsibilities include:- Preparing and issuing accurate customer invoices
- Posting payments and applying credits
- Reviewing billing data for accuracy and completeness
- Resolving billing discrepancies and responding to customer inquiries
- Maintaining Accounts Receivable records and documentation
- Monitoring outstanding invoices and assisting with collections
- Generating billing, aging, and AR reports
- Coordinating with internal departments to verify billing information
- Supporting month‑end close activities
- Maintaining organized billing files
- Assisting with audits and providing documentation as needed
- Handling order entry, vendor follow‑ups, and general administrative tasks
We’re looking for someone who is detail‑oriented, organized, and confident in a fast‑paced office environment.
Essential qualifications:- 2+ years of billing (non‑medical), AR, or clerical accounting experience
- Experience in freight, transportation, logistics, or a similar industry
- Strong working knowledge of accounting principles and billing practices
- Hands‑on experience with Quick Books Online
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Ability to review, reconcile, and organize billing information
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Experience with invoices, credits, debits, bills of lading, and customer orders
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- High school diploma required; associate degree preferred
- Good judgment, problem‑solving skills, and a willingness to jump in where needed
